It would be so much easier to mess with the settings and open/close games if I could do it with my controller. I have to constantly get up from my bed to turn a thing off and then lay back down. Yes, I am pretty lazy lol.

Is there an effective way to do this? I imagine it would be like an interface of some kind, like windows media center or something like that. What do I do?

Some people use Steam as a front-end. Dolphin is slowly making its way to a new interface called QT, which is replacing the current WxWidgets, and one of the eventual benefits is that there is the possibility of controllers being used to navigate.

Are there any work arounds? I thought RetroArch was cool but I don't know how to use the latest dev build with it. Thanks!

You can always emulate keyboard and mouse on your Xbox controller using Antimicro. With it you can map an unused button on your Xbox controller (Guide button in my case, you know that big "X" on Xbox ontroller?) to switch between mouse control and null profile to avoid mouse interfering while playing Xinput games.

I'm using Launchbox with it's interface "Bigbox" which is similar to steams "Big Picture Mode" but better!, It's so good, you can use hotkeys on your controller to close down every emulator and the launch whatever you want from within the interface. Check out their channel on Youtube, lot's of good stuff there! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSIht6UXIEXIgz4eXAEShxA

I use this one:
https://github.com/scottrice/Ice

It will add emulator games into Steam. After that I just use my X Controller to fire up steam in Big Picture Mode Smile
