Hello, I'm N64 Thwomp. I wanted to know from people who have downloaded the emulator here on this safe; is it 100% safe (like, no viruses/trojans in the file)? And it doesn't harm your computer right? I apologize for sounding really ignorant on the subject, it's just I'm new to emulators and this website, and I really wanna make sure that my computer stays safe... Because one time I downloaded an emulator and I got a bad virus. Sad

Is it safe to download the Dolphin emulator on this site? Thanks for reading, hope to hear some replies before I download it.

Make sure you download it from reliable sources.
The builds you find on the download page of the site, are 100% safe.
Builds you find here in the development section of the forum are also 100% safe.

Builds downloaded from the main site should always be safe. Builds downloaded from forum users in the development section are also very reliable, but the site can't vouch for any issues you find with them.

A virus in pj64? Not sure. Maybe a less "official" emulator. Btw I didn't know there was a 1.7 version. I'm still using the 1.6 Tongue

People post fake pj64 1.7 all the time XD, although they really are working on 1.7

This "latest" version doesn't seem to be an offical one. A lot of serious sites don't even mention it
