Is possible to use Mic on Mario Party 7?

It always say that I do not have it plugged at slot b but I do (going to gamecube configuration). Could that be solved? Is maybe cause I am using pal version? Please help!

I saw an issue that the microphone-device is not complete yet.

Ah, alright...it seems that it wasn't so far from completion back then, but it hasn't been worked on anymore, huh?
