Is OS X El Capitan unsupported now?

Just curious as I have an original Mac Pro upgraded to almost the max (GTX 950, 32 GB DDR2, and both an 500 GB WD Blue SSD, and a 3 TB HDD for storage) minus upgrading the CPUs of course. Dolphin 5 runs but it's not great, and I was looking to run a newer build, but it looks like you guys upped the system requirements last I tried, and this thing is maxed out in terms of OS it unofficially can run due to Apple requiring SSE4.1 and 4.2 for Sierra or later. Was 5.0 the last and only build that can run on El Cap? What build can run after this one in particular?

Thanks.

We had a recent change that used a new feature in macOS and bumped our minimum supported macOS version to 10.12. Any version before 5.0-11458 should work, but if it doesn't, try a build before 5.0-10855 as those should absolutely work on 10.11.

Basically try this build (5.0-11455), and if that doesn't work, try this build (5.0-10852).

Please let us know your results!

No luck. Both those seem to require Sierra.

I was running 5.0, but performance was poor compared with 3.5, which plays almost perfectly aside from lighting glitches in both Pokemon Colosseum and XD. Colosseum had a music related issue that XD seemed to not have in that build and XD couldn't progress past the starting area or else it crashes. 5.0 is stable but performance wise 3.5 takes the cake.

Both builds you reccomended report this when running the Dolphin Executable via Terminal of both builds:
Sorry, "Dolphin" can not be run on this version of macOS. Qt requires macOS 10.12.0 or later, you have macOS 10.11.6.

If your issue is due Qt only supporting macOS 10.12 and newer, then the most recent Dolphin version you can use is 5.0-8277, which was the last Dolphin version which still had the old wxWidgets GUI...
