You shouldn't really have much rubbish in the background anyway if you are sensible about not installing rubbish and don't leave other programs running.

So, the first thing that i need to upgrade would be the CPU right? What about videocards, Is the HD 4870 good enough?

Should be enough for 3x IR I think (1080p).
