Get latest dev builds, they're faster than current stable...

Then try the latest x86 build. Should be 4.0-1609 IIRC

Then deal with it and miss the latest improvements to the emulator. There's no point in using a 32 bit OS while your CPU is capable of running 64 bit OS...
(and yes, you can use the same Windows license to install x64 version)
