Is my PC good enough to run games on dolphin emulator? I have inlet i5-3210M 2.50GHz CPU 8 gigs of ram and an Intel HD graphics 4000 on a windows 8.1 x64. If it is not good enough are there any settings I can use to make it not lag or be slow?

Specify the Mario Kart title. Should be enough for SSBB, with some microdrops (mobile CPUs tend to be kind of slow when talking about Dolphin).

Well, in latest builds you can use OpenGL since it´s faster than D3D. In Windows, set it to High Performance mode. I think that the Intel drivers allow you to set the GPU to high performance, you´d better look for that in the Intel HD panel (or whatever name it has).

D3d might still be faster on an ivy bridge IGP.
