Truly ...
i3 @ 2.4GHz + Intel HD 3000 ...
I couldn't achieve that speed with my laptop
Anyway , SMG + LLE = i5 3570k @ 4.2GHz (stock speed = minimum requirement) + dedicated GPU
Your laptop is 100 years too early to run one of the most demanding games

If i remember correctly , you're the one tell me that SMG could run full speed on your CPU Tongue
I believe it's only xcyper33's problem .
Even if he had GPU bottlenecking issue , he should have more than 45FPS on that spot . Apparently , he has 45 FPS and you have 43-47 FPS . Do you find something strange here ? His CPU is much faster , you know

I guess 3570k can't run other games fullspeed either, not only SMG2/TLS but also some very demanding GC/Wii games I'm thinking of. I might be wrong though. I'll test that when I have mine Big Grin

Yeah, it means its not cpu issue, something alse is bottlenecking..maybe we need 680 gtx minimum ? Smile
I am getting more then 100% gamespeed, so its certanly gpu thread issue
More users need to test before we can know if its only xcyper's problem

Which games ?

I'm thinking of series like Medal of honor, Call of Duty, Splinter Cell, Harry Potter...
These games are very demanding and need LLE (haven't tried them with AX-HLE branch though).
With my old 760 they're playable. With 3570k I'm sure they will run very fine. But fullspeed, everywhere, not sure.
Btw have you played F-Zero with your CPU?

IIRC, no one's gotten Pokemon Battle Revolution to consistently run fullspeed (especially in battles) with LLE audio, even on OCed i5-3570Ks.

My testing has confirmed that SMG2 is far more demanding than most games on both the gpu and main memory bandwidth. So it seems likely that one of those is the culprit.

Question is how we can get 60 fps then at spots like the one I described in topic in general ?
Do we really need more then geforce 560 ?
Do we need to overclock main memory even if its for example ddr 1600 ?
Or something alse Huh
