Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if my operating system is any good for GC/Wii games.

I have dolphin 3.5 version. Im trying to tweak the settings for F-ZeroGTX for the gamecube. It goes really slow when racing with other computer players and the character select screen. Overall anything with too much going on in one screen Tongue

I'm not much of a computer Wizz So Im not confident with the settings and no what they do. ><

If anyone can help Id appreciate it ^^

Your CPU is a bit weak for this game (F-Zero is a very demanding game)

But everything else is up to scratch for most Wii and GC games?

I will properly invest into a new CPU,Motherboard and RAM.

Thank you for your feedback!

There are 2 options :
_Overclock your CPU to 3.2GHz for the time being and upgrade later (Next gen Haswell CPU - Core i5 4670k in June 2013) . Unfortunately , you have an OEM DELL mobo -> You can't overclock
_Upgrade now :
+Pentium Ivy Bridge G2120 @ 3.1GHz (As fast as Core i3 3rd gen without Hyper Threading )
+i5 3450 @3.9GHz + Asrock Z77 (must be Asrock brand or else there is no way to overclock "no k CPU")
+i5 3570k @ 4.2GHz + Z75 or Z77 mobo
Of course , you will need to replace your DDR2 to DDR3 Ram
