Desktop ? no one said it can't run but the game will not be enjoyable with your desktop . Even my laptop can't handle that game with latest Dolphin version so I hope you get the point
Try old version such as Dolphin 3.5 145 , my laptop can run XenoBlade well with that version but I doubt your CPU can do the same
You can try overclock your CPU to 3.2GHz or higher
Basically , any CPU that is slower than Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.2GHz is hopeless for demanding games such as Xenoblade , Pandora's tower
i thpught so but it was worth a try lol do you know any other good rpgs i could play with my labtop since i get paid tomorrow i have been looking for some good rpgs

Laptop:windows 7
CPU: intel b960 proccesor
GPU: intel HD Graphics
4GB RAM
windows 8 64 bit
dolphin 3.5

For what it's worth, if you plan to continue to ask questions about Dolphin and games, you should list your video card details more specifically. An "ATI Radeon" could mean just about any number of video cards.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333
