Lightweight (Luigi´s Mansion, etc.) and some average-weight (Super Mario Sunshine, etc.) will run perfect/playable, as long as you enable Intel TurboBoost (with that you will get 3.8 GHz, which is a regular/good CPU strenght for most games).
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

Just overclock it. There's really no point to using turbo boost on a extreme processor. Don't overclock it too high of course. Just try to get it as high as you can on stock or close to stock voltages.

@O.P.: If your PC is a desktop, then do what DatKid said. If it´s a laptop, just enable TurboBoost. It´s not like a big deal.

Your laptop will be able to run lightweight and medium games full speed most of the time and will be able to run demanding games like SMG1&2 fairly well without LLE. With LLE it will be iffy. You can use throttlestop to keep your laptop clocked at 3.8ghz.

That thread will help.

@DJBarry004

Just check his specs. next time. Any part with an M in the model number is a mobile component (laptop based).
