Just saying, 13 years old + Chirstmas/Birthday/whatever else + Parents = new PC. They're your parents after all, that's what they're there for
Fwiw, I've been in your shoes before (14 years old, no cash, dreamed of building a mid-range gaming rig) but I always blew my money on console games. You can always ask for a new PC as a graduation gift when you finish school (worked for me :p) 11-01-2013, 01:53 PM
Way off topic:
I was in that same situation and I remember not being able to get one until I was 15/16 (I don't remember anymore). I never spent anything relatives gave me so I actually had enough money in my bank account (which of course was managed by my parents at that time). It took me years to convince them to let me spend that money on a PC. They were afraid I would break it. Which is ironic since they now call me everytime they screw up one of their systems. Which is constantly. Meanwhile my computers continue to run just fine. I remember the essay I wrote for my college applications was about this. It was titled "Don't Touch, You Might Break It". And was about how this mentality stunts intellectual growth in children and teenagers and how I convinced my parents to open up more. Good thing I didn't have to wait until graduation like you. If that had happened I doubt I would have developed as many technical skills by the time I got into college.

yeah like i said its not a necessity my parents don't buy that kind of stuff for me anyway and its a good PC for minecraft, and since i have DIOS MIOS on my wii its basically like on a high powered laptop PC just minus the portability.
and btw i got The legend of zelda wind waker to run at 10-60 FPS (depending on the terrain that dolphin is having to build) and at 50-100 game speed 11-02-2013, 10:41 AM
