I just installed dolphin, obtained several games and attempted to play them.

my experience was as follows:

slow, choppy and laggy sound.
Laggy, slow and choopy gameplay.
Luigis mansion also crashed.

The games that are associated with this experience are:

Pokemon XD
Wind Waker
Luigis Mansion
And smash brother brawl

I also adjusted my dolphin graphics settings:
Backened OpenGL
Vsync in dolphine was left unchecked.
I am also not playing the game in "Full Screen" mode.

I did this with the hopes that my experience may improve, after doing so my experience remained relatively unchanged.

Is there something I am missing or doing wrong?
Or should i just give up now?

My apparent laptop specs:

I recently upgraged to windows 10
lenovo Z570 with intel 3000 integrated graphics.
2.5ghz intel i5-2450M CPU
8GB of ram.
technical knowledge is slightly above average so I will understand very little "geek speak".

I play skyrim on my computer on a regular basis with no issues so i assume that my graphics card is decent enough to run gamecube games. But from what I understand this isnt about running game cube games its about running dolphin.

I have the latest version of dolphin installed (4.0-8059)
