Sorry, i guess i wasn't clear enough in my original post. I meant support for motion plus with an emulated wiimote. i'm using 4.0-7933 and the only available extensions are nunchuck, classic, guitar, drums and turntable. Motion plus isn't on the list of extensions for emulated wiimote.

If you come up with a concept on how to emulate it, without using different profiles for different use cases, please post them. I think that's the biggest reason why nobody does it. Nobody has thought of a propery concept yet on how to emulate this 3d input with keyboard and mouse or gamepad.

I don't see a good reason to emulate it for a couple of reasons.

1. Emulating it in a way that isn't absolutely horrible to use is very very hard because it has a ton of axes. Different games use the sensor data differently, so making consistent controls probably impossible.

2. I'm damn sure that anybody who doesn't have a WM+ but for some reason has a WM+ game, pirated it. We don't support piracy, and the popular games that require WM+ support come with one. So if you don't have a real one, you probably don't have the game and we don't want to help pirates.

While it's true that it's wanted by pirates, it is possible to own a game but not be able to use real MotionPlus. I guess the most common reason is not being able to connect a Wii Remote to a PC, but it's also theoretically possible for people to buy games just to run them in Dolphin.

Anyway, nobody is working on this, and there are no plans for it. A large reason is the control issues mentioned, but it could also be because the developers just aren't interested in working on it. If someone would submit a pull request for it, I don't see much reason for it to not be accepted. But don't expect to have a good experience playing MotionPlus games with a gamepad or keyboard...

Motion Plus games usually don't come with a controller, and those that do come with a limited edition one AFAIK, such as the golden one with Skyward Sword. It's completely reasonable for someone to buy two copies of Skyward Sword because they want two golden Wiimotes, either because they like the colour, or because they know they're one of the few non-TR Motion Plus capable controllers. If they sell their second game disk on eBay, and then I were to buy it, no-one would have done anything wrong, and yet I'd have a copy of a game that was shipped with a controller, but no controller.

But the actual hardware requires the controller. In that scenario you outlined, you'd buy a motion plus adapter! So it isn't that big of a stretch for us to require it too.

I have the real controller but I think it would also be cool if someone was able to create some command system where say, a joystick would slice your sword in the different required angles in Skyward Sword. But nothing prevents people from making a branch and doing it, and then if someone were to actually make it work, probably the devs wouldn't have a problem including it.

The only valid use case I see is if you can't connect your controller to your system. But that's already a stretch.

Anyways, PRs for support are welcome. Nobody's working on this though.
