Exactly yes and I aggree with you that Amd Cpu's increasing cores but decreasing speed. I have a reasonable good cpu which is working @ 3.6 Ghz. I like performance of it at Pc and emulating applications. But Dolphin forced it so much and I cant play some games. Those games are not many but they are Wii platforms best games I think. After the testing last revision 4.0.8483, I am very very happy with the speed, graphic and sound improvements. I gave an example in another topic in here that yesterday evening I tested Dead Space Extraction. I am very surprised the improvement of optimisation of emulation. Before I got really serious Fps drops in open areas and also with graphical issues including hacks thicked. Now without any hacks I get solid 30-32 Fps. Sometimes drops to 25 Fps when crowded but you cant notice any slowdon or sound shuttering. Before I was using R6515, 3.5.144 and 4.0 but I couldnt play this game due to performance impact. Now I feel the difference so much. I also tested other problematic games too. Just like Cod Modern Warfare Reflex. It has performance issue too for me. Result is same. Rock solid Full speed gaming experience most of time. This is very well improvement for me to continue with my hardware.
