That makes no sense, games don't write their savefiles to SD cards. The card would have to exist and be formatted correctly before anything attempted writing to it.
Probably explains why i just played a Wii game on both versions with the box ticked and made sure to do a save and still nothing. I found this youtube vid -

but i still don't really understand it and there's like half a dozen different programs you need to download there. Do you know any just real simple way to do this?

I then followed JosJuice's instructions about OSFMount (thanks too btw) and managed to turn the sd.raw file into an actual drive which does show up on my PC, however i'm not sure what to do now. As i'm guessing you probably know when dealing with apps on the Homebrew Channel of an original Wii, first you made a folder called apps then inside of that a folder with the name of the app and then inside of that there would be a boot.dol file, an icon file, a game.dat file, a meta file and an intro.dat file.
Wow it's been awhile since we discussed this subject huh? Had given up on Dolphin altogether for awhile because it just wasn't working with my shitty old PC... however a mate of mine who's really good with PC's (which i'm not) fully cleaned it up, put a more compatible OS on it and just generally got rid of all the bad stuff on there that i got from watching too much Oprah Winfrey porn lol.
Any suggestions?
