I was just wondering if it's possible to play Animal Crossing City Folk online with Wiimmfi on Dolphin. Thanks. Shy

That would be why he's asking if it works with Wiimmfi instead.

I believe it has partial support. Should work depending on what you're trying to do.

Well, since the online functionality of AC: City Folk is based on a "Friend Roster" consisting of Friend Codes along with the names of the friends and towns, would that mean that online functionality of this game using Dolphin is simply not possible?

I accidentally read that as "Assassin's Creed: City Folk" and chuckled.

I would like to clarify that I meant that In order to connect to people on AC: City Folk, you need to exchange Friend Codes. Are Friend Codes possible in Dolphin?

Is it a game-specific friend code or does it use the same friend code that the system menu uses?

(I don't think Nintendo could have come up with a stupider system if they tried...)

I believe it is system Friend Code, similar to Wild World, a different friend code is issued based on the system used to play the game. For instance, I already have a friend code when I play my AC: Wild World game on my Original Nintendo DS, but when playing the same game cart on my Nintendo DS Lite, I am informed that I must register a new Friend Code then have everyone on my Friend Roster re-register this new code.

It's a game-specific friend code (because no other game on the system shares that code).
