Windows allocates it a set of cores.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X RAM: 48GB GPU: Radeon 7800 XT 07-17-2013, 10:23 PM

Are there ANY games that the "On Thread" doesnt break?...lol
I am sort of seriously asking because it would provide a great speed up for the Zelda uCode games, but the Thread options seems to be bad for those games. Thoughts?

As for LLE on thread breaking stuff, it's mostly just Zelda's and a few random others. HLE on thread, on the other hand... Lots of weirdness there. If the OS automatically chooses a core how come when I look at the task manager each of the 4 physical + 4 virtual cores is receiving load including the virtual cores (HT on)?
Sometimes if DSP to thread is on and Windows assigns it to a virtual core there is a huge FPS loss. (07-17-2013, 11:12 PM)haddockd Wrote: Are there ANY games that the "On Thread" doesnt break?...lolLLE on thread freezes Mario Galaxy |
