The title about says it all.

Without glovepie or any external software, would it even be possible for Dolphin to turn the inputs of a Classic Controller into a GameCube controller? +, -, and Home could all be Start/Select, ZL and ZR could be Z, and we already have two Analog Sticks. It's just a matter of mapping them to the GameCube inputs.

And I guess to avoid making another thread, any progress on interfacing a Wii U Pro Gamepad for Dolphin?
Windows 7 x64 (SP1)
nVidia GeForce GTX 760 (Gigabyte GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0) 2GB GDDR5 @ 1100 MHz (6020 MHz memory)
Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.90GHz
8GB G.Skill Sniper Low Voltage edition, Dual Channel @ 1600MHz 9-9-9-24

Maybe using a DolphinBar on input mode and then mapping it to the GC inputs (idk)

Delroth gave a presentation about streaming the PC screen to the Gamepad and using the controls for it back in November of 2013 (I think).

Then there's just controls here: http://kotaku.com/5981657/the-wii-u-controller-now-works-on-pc-games-courtesy-of-this-handy-software
