Hello, sorry if I'm asking about it too much, but I have a concern about the problem seen in this thread: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=15446

As far as I understood, Shake Z axis is supposed to be a continuous movement, but while using Dolphin the game considers it as repetitive individual commands. As in, instead of making a long, continuous command it just shakes the Z axis for a short moment, then again, and so on.

My question is, since I didn't manage to get the proper output with any other button in the emulated Wiimote window, should I report it as a bug? And if I should, am I supposed to do it in the project's page?

Shake should work fine, try Shake Z in combination with Shake Y or X perhaps.

I edited my last post after seeing the video, it looks like it probably uses the tilt and then shake for the launch. Usually when shaking anything you should use both X, Y and Z as Billiard says. Not really sure if Z is even toward the screen with sideways wiimote. To my experience, few games uses the values very accurately (as comes the expression "waggle")

Z and X makes the character stop moving backwards, move slightly forward then move backward again. Adding Y to this makes the whole screen shake (along with the problem caused by Z+X only).

Tilting Wiimote backward then shaking Z axis has the same output as shaking Z and X axises without tilting (2 steps backward, 1 step forward). Tilting wiimote backward then shaking all axises together has the same output as shaking all axises together without tilting (2 steps backward, 1 step forward+shaking screen).

I'm bumping this because I didn't find a solution yet. The game says to tilt the Wiimote backwards toward yourself, though tilting backwards wouldn't work, Shaking Z will cause the problem I mentioned earlier, and adding X or Y will make the whole screen shake.

Did anyone manage to overcome this by now, or I should give up on that?

I have an update!

I tried using Dolphin r4701. Using this build, these settings:

Produced the result I wanted once I push my analog backwards (as opposed to Shake, which produced the same error it did on the newer SVNs). However, with these settings, I can't use Tilt left/right to get Sonic to...move left/right.

So my questions now are:
1. Is it possible to produce the same thing my analog currently does with r4701 on a newer build?
2. If 1 is not possible, then is it possible to use both tilt left/right and whatever analog backwards does now in r4701 (I tried nosound's guide, it didn't work to me)?
