i am using thinkpad x61
The CPU is t8300 dual core 2.4ghz
ram:1g
system win7 32bit
it performs quiet well on 2d games but really slow on 3d games like mario kart.
I know x3100 is bad but as it go smoothly on pc games that require more graphic processing, i don't think wii games is hard for it.

Is the processor not good enough?
or require more ram(the ram never full as i see in the task manager)

I am looking forward to your kind help

Well, mobile graphics were never that reliable.
If I'm not mistaken that graphics chip can't support OpenGL 2.1, so you have to use the slower DirectX9 plugin right?

More ram would be helpful too, 1GB is usually enough to run Windows, you should at least have 2gb.

d3d plugin is quicker than or at lest the same speed as the ogl plugin as i remembered.
And I don't think 1gb more ram will help much.

I always find the OpenGl plugin to be faster, but I guess mileage and vary?
But more RAM is always a good idea anyway.

Depends on the OS and video card brand.
On vista-7 + Ati-Intel, D3D9 is faster.
On XP-Linux + NVidia, OGL is faster.

My video card has a hard time on Wii emulation starting on 1280x1024, anything under that is perfect.
Considering that it is at least 20 times more powerful than a Intel x3100, I wouldn't expect wonders. Too bad the CPU is actually good.
Stick to native resolution, and try a GMA booster, if you're confident enough on your cooling systems.
