The one in users. You don't need to dump any files from a wii.

Also, it will check global user directory if you don't specify a file, and there's not one in current directory. Hopefully that makes it easier to use. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1111...banMii.exe 07-12-2014, 12:12 PM
Frequent crashes when connecting, both with UnbanMii and unreleased versions of my own NAND generator. My old generated NAND now gives 23915.
Also it appears that Wiimmfi has been having some problems lately, which explains the connection problems, possibly the crashes. The crashes could either be a Dolphin bug (unlikely), Dolphin misbehaving to a malfunctioning server, or Wiimmfi intentionally pushing information that causes problems for Dolphin. Still it appears someone took the extra effort to ban my profile. Freezes before network traffic. 20100 = no http response from server. 07-12-2014, 12:38 PM
tbh I think it's a bit of a dick move to evade their bans. They make good points about the reasons to ban dolphin users. If individuals can figure out how to get around it themselves and won't cause a terrible gaming experience for others, then great for them - they can do it themselves. Trying to essentially ruin the service is just not helping anyone.

Trying to essentially ruin the service is just not helping anyone. There's legitimate uses for it, since the default id used by dolphin is banned. My motivation was to make things easier for legitimate users. If others use it for nefarious purposes, then so be it, it's not my responsibility to make sure that doesn't happen. Trying to prevent people from cheating when it's already so easy is dumb if it comes at the cost of making things harder for legitimate users. 07-12-2014, 03:56 PM
The problem isn't really nefarious people, it's just that dolphin is not guaranteed to act enough like a real wii while playing others online - could just be framerate issues or whatever.

Tons of people will get banned because they don't run 60 fps. It amounts to timer hacking, even if it's not meant to be.

hi, i think unbannme works perfectly, but when i try to connect i get the error 23500: HTTP error.
can someone help me please? sorry for my bad english 09-22-2014, 03:10 AM
The Dolphin Wii has several IDs. There's a possibility that UnbanMii doesn't change them all. (Couldn't find the link to the source) Try my program: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-un...r-released
There's also a chance, however small, that it doesn't work. One of the IDs, instead of randomizing, I let Dolphin randomize it. Dolphin makes one based on the system time, meaning it would potentially be possible to detect it, just by converting IDs to timestamps and banning anything that seems Dolphin-like. So far, I haven't been banned using this tool. If this tool gets blocked at some point, it's not a big deal, just make a new MKWii license, use some unlock everything cheats, and regenerate the NAND using an updated version of this tool. 09-22-2014, 06:22 AM
Hi jimbo thanks for your answer i try with your tool 3 or 4 times and still having the error 23915 but with unbanme i have the error 23500.
Tnx for your help |
