I am working on a little project regarding the emulator, and I want to support most versions as possible.
I did my research and found out that Dolphin 4.0-1609 is the latest build with x86 support. Starting from the build after that, only x64.
So my question is, is this build still used by x86 users?

No, anybody running a 32-bit version of Windows is told to upgrade to the 64-bit version of Windows. Their license covers both, so there's no reason to be running 32-bit windows. And any computers that don't support 64-bit Windows due to the processor being old won't run Dolphin at a playable speed anyways.

Beyond that, there are a massive list of issues that have been fixed since 4.0-1609, and on top of that we don't support anything older than 5.0 stable on the forums, so if you run into issues, the only response you'll get is to upgrade to 5.0 stable.

My suggestion is to use 5.0 stable as the very lowest version. It would be best to use one of the latest builds though.

Read more about why we dropped support here and see that even 3ish years ago barely anybody used 32-bit anymore:

If you can't use a 64 bit build you won't find support on the forums. We only support the latest stable build.

The few times I do see people come to the forums and ask for help with their x86 Dolphin installations, they tend to be using stable versions, not 4.0 development versions.
