I set it to 'True' and it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Is AutoHideCursor (in Dolphin.ini) broken?

In all games?
What version of Dolphin? Can you post screenies of your settings? Are you editing the ini manually instead of enabling it through the GUI? If so, have you tried through the GUI? Is the rig in your sig current?

I only tried it on Mario Kart Wii. But since you asked that question, let me ask: Is this supposed to hide my mouse cursor or the Wiimote pointer?
The build on my profile is current but just to save you the time though, it's 4.0-5168. I'm editing the .ini file manually since I don't see an option in the GUI for autohiding my mouse cursor, I only see the 'Hide Mouse Cursor' option which sets HideCursor to 'True'. The rig in my sig (ha, that rhymes) is current, yes. 01-22-2015, 01:29 PM
Try selecting the option in the GUI. It has never failed me. It hides the cursor but this assumes you arent using the mouse as a virtual wiimote. Are you using a real wiimote?

I'm using a real Wiimote, yes. Where's the option in the GUI?
Click Graphics > General Tab > Click Hide Mouse Cursor ![]()

That's the setting I was talking about in my earlier post:

That makes the cursor be hidden all the time while it's over the render window, as opposed to auto hiding after a couple of seconds of not being moved like other programs do. 01-23-2015, 08:08 AM
I apologize for the confusion but I am not clearly understanding the issue. So that option does hide the mouse cursor (as long as it is over Dolphin) correct? That is the expected behavior. Are you trying to get the mouse to appear if you move it?

Yes, exactly. I'm trying to get the mouse pointer to appear over the Dolphin window when I move it, and to only go away when I stop moving it. This is how most other programs work when you go into fullscreen. That's what I thought AutoHideCursor did, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

The only way I know of to get the mouse back after auto hide is enabled is to hit Escape and go back to the desktop. Perhaps someone else has additional insight
