If you overclock, very significant.

Go for an i5 2500K instead. It's a lot cheaper and performs the same with dolphin and most applications.

Z68 and P67 cost about the same on most sites. Both will do fine.

If you guys wanna overclock on Motherboards that don't support overclocking, then try Clockgen. On my old rig, I overclocked my Athlon II x2 from 2.0 to 2.5.
OS: Win.7 Ult. x64 SP1
CPU: i5-2500k @ 4.19GHz Tongue
GPU: 6870 1GB GDDR5 Cool
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600 Big Grin
Dolphin: 3.0-423

Clockgen can't raise the CPU multiplier, which is the only way Sandy Bridge CPUs can be overclocked. On LGA 775 boards it can cause nasty issues with the NB straps.

I just overclock my athlon @ 3.552 Ghz and it works great in most games with openGL, exept the metroid prime saga and mario kart wii, those runs @ 60-25fps depending on the area, ssbm and ssbb at full speed, and the zelda games (WW, TP & SW) runs perfectly... how much performance will the i5 give me in those games, if most of them run fine or playable?
