I think it depends weather u hav d JP or PAL version of d game...
AMD Phenom II X4 955BE 3.2 Ghz Quad Core
HIS ATI 4870 512mb GDDR5 4 gig DDR2 Ram Windows7 x64 Ultimate
nah, i'm playing the unpatched pal version but limit my framerate to 30 (disabling audio throttle) and the rest of the game played normal, the lip is still synced with the dialogue. the best thing about this is that i have 5 fps (or 10 vps) headroom in case something slow down my game.

I don't understand why you ask this, its not like you're making some big sacrifice if you just try it. But yes, it seems to be a lot smoother after the patch.

I can say it's worth, because I can see clearly the difference between 25 FPS >> 30 FPS in this game (more smooth animation). 09-20-2011, 02:32 PM
nope, the music at least play normally, the event play normally and even if the game speed increase it's a welcome addition to speed things up.
and yes, it's also smoother here. so no, not worth it especially if you have rather weak pc. 09-21-2011, 06:17 AM

I find it interesting how the music play at constant speed when using HLE audio in this game. seriously, i've let the frame limiter go, dolphin went turbo to arround 200% speed, overal gameplay become faster, but audio still play at 100% speed. no increase at all but when i set it to LLE, audo get faster along with video/gameplay

what really surprise is that even the lip sync and the dialogue is perfect on events, so really, there's no reason to patch 30 fps except losing 10vps headroom.
oh actually there's one thing that seem to sped up, the game time, it's 20% faster, if this is really important to you then maybe 30 fps patch could make sense. |
