Hello guys,

I've been searching around for alternative ways to implement a better and convenient method with the wireless sensor bar exlcusively for laptops. I figure if I purchased a wireless sensor bar how would I be able to mount it on the laptop instead of carrying everything around and plus I think it would be very convenient, the candle light method seem to work but I dont want to have to light up candles everytime I use Dolphin. So I came up with an idea on getting a pair of mini portable IR sensors (searched on Google) and mounting them on each side of the bottom of the laptop, like on each end of side edges of the keyboard section. And since the sensor bar is just IR light, I though these mini IR sensors would be a practicle method but any ideas if this would work, critics and inputs on this method are welcomed. Thank you.

It would probably be more sensible to mount on the top.

I think you would have better results on the lid top, not bottom. Also that LCD screen will interfere I bet. You will need some bright leds.

edit: I see Billiard26 just suggested that, so then I concur.

I agree as well, ulao how would the LCD screen interfere, you mean the brightness of it?

Yeah I could see that a problem. I had some problems with my plasma doing that. If the IR leds are strong enough it wont matter.
