All of them work, because it does not do anything except some infrared LED on each side.
The sensor which sees the light is in the wiimote.

You might want to have a wireless one because you have no wii to plug it in.

And use 2 candles to test your wiimote while waiting for the bar. Works too.

I ended up with a wireless one when I wanted a wired one (my TV has a USB port I could have used for such). Avoid the "Memorex Wireless Sensor Bar" which is advertized as supporting USB, but neither includes a USB cord, nor any port to plug one into.

The best one that I've found so far is the: Nextronics Sensor Bar USB.

I don't have a USB Port on my TV, but my HTPC's USB port powers it just fine.
My mobo has that 'always on' USB power feature, so it also works while the PC is essentially off, like when I want to use my Wiimote with the actual Wii Console.

Its very expencive compared to the 2$ pieces. If you are low on money you can just buy one with 4xAAA and with a bit of knowledge or some instructions from google you can just wire an USB cable from a broken device to it.
But just do it if you know what you're doing... else you may end up breaking everything and burning down your house or similar.

If you don't read neither I nor anyone else can help you.

You probably need to say some mystic words and tip on it with your magic wand...
