Ir receiver doesn't work

Hi, i am just trying same games on dolphin, but i have a problem with the IR receiver. Basically, I would like it to work with the touchscreen, but if I touch, nothing appears. In the settings I do not find anything like that, and I have remained the default ones. What can I do?

I'm trying Mario kart, where you don't need the pointer.. and then super Mario Galaxy, where without the pointer I'm unable to play

I just started using this on my new phone and couldn't get the IR touchscreen working at all until I laid my phone down flat and the touch ir pointer worked fine. As soon as I pick my phone up it stops working again. It seems that at least on my device and maybe others that it's reading the angle the device is held and disabling the ir touch. Laying it flat enables it again.
