Uh, Probably you guys have seen this alot, but it seems it doesn't work for me.

Long story short; IR Pointer is stuck unless I hold down a button. People say that going on Wiimote settings, right clicking on "Hide", then selecting the "!NOT" option.

As I said, for some reason, it does NOT work for me.

First of all, how are you going to move the IR pointer? By keyboard or is the idea that you will do this with your mouse? Because you have set up the IR to be moved with the buttons 12345567 on your keyboard. Second of all IIRC this configuration screen is from an older version of Dolphin, please also try to download the latest development version.

Last but not least, please try to click default in this screen, that makes your keyboard and mouse be standard settings and you should be able to move the pointer with the mouse without any doubt (that's how I used to play this game with dolphin before I got my WiiMotes working on passthrough)
Check my profile for up to date specs.

Super Paper Mario requires sideways Wiimote.

Your binding for the IR Hide should be something like `!Z` (or any other binding, as long as it have the ! on it) to make it work the way you want...

Doesn't it require both ways? In which case I believe there is a toggle somewhere (only in the dev builds?).

The sideways Wiimote toggle in Dolphin just inverts the D-Pad bindings and should be left enabled all time for this game. If Super Paper Mario "sees" the IR pointer, then it assumes you're holding it straight and goes into that Tippi mode. When it doesn't see the IR pointer anymore, it assumes you've switched back to sideways...
