IS THERE A WAY TO TURN THE IR POINTER OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME. I KNOW THERE IS AN OPTION IN THE WIIMOTE SEETINGS WHERE YOU CAN HIDE IT, BUT YOU NEED TO HOLD A BUTTON TO DO IT.

IS THERE ANY OPTION TO TURN IT OFF AND ON WITHOUT HOLDING ANYTHING.

HERE IS MY PROBLEM,

I AM PLAYING MARIO GALAXY AND I JUST HATE TO SEE THE IR POINTER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN ALL THE TIME. I JUST HATE IT!! IT WILL ALSO BE HELPFUL IN OTHER GAMES.

I AM USING THE XBOX 360 CONTROLLER

THANK,S FOR YOUR HELP.

PLEASE TURN OFF CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure about turning it off apart from using "upright wiimote" but that stops you from using pull stars etc.

For me I set the IR pointer "center" setting to 80, that way the star is above marios head and less annoying.

1. Right click on "Hide" (instead of left clicking to assign a new button)
2. At the bottom of the appearing window, above the buttons "Clear" and "Set" you'll see a textbox with some text that represents the button you have to press to keep the cursor hidden.
3. In front of that text, place an exclamation mark '!' (without the quotation marks ''). If for example you assigned "Click 0" to hide the cursor, the new text must look like "!Click 0" (without ""-marks)
The !-mark stands for "not" and means: Hide the cursor as long as button "Whatever" is NOT pressed.

Hope it helps.

SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TongueTongue

ok using upright mode helps, but also wont let you grab any stars or gems during game.

Do you agree with me then? there should be an option to turn it off an on.
