Hi, I've connected my Wii Motion Plus remote to my PC using the Toshiba stack and the guide on the main site. The buttons seem to work fine however to infrared pointer does not work. I've loaded up Mario Kart Wii and Skyward Sword but the pointer doesn't work in either game.

I'm using a sensor bar which is connected to a Wii U and it turns out that the bar isn't on until I enable Wii mode on the Wii U. Is there any way to get the sensor bar to turn on without turning on the Wii U?

Not if you expect the Wii U to power it.

That's a shame; I've just ordered a USB sensor bar for $5 from eBay so I'll continue on the Wii U until that arrives. Thanks for the replies.
