invert an axis on controller

Well I am trying to play windwaker with my xbox 360 controller, but I find the orientation of the c-stick left and right movement really annoying. So I have been trying to invert it, as there does not seem to be that option ingame.

With the nJoy v0.3 it does not allow me to invert the axis, it only allows me to set the x-axis and y-axis of the c-stick. So I tried using the Dolphin KB/X360pad plugin. I used xpadder to bind my left and right axis movements to buttons and then input those buttons under the C-stick left and right in an inverted orientation. But the plugin only allows me to enable or disable X360Pad, which is the entire controller, instead of being able to disable specific buttons or axes like the nJoy plugin.
So when I try to play ingame, both the xpadder keybinded left and right functions and the default 360 controller right and left buttons are working at the same time so they cancel out. And I can't just bind every 360 controller key to buttons and disable the X360Pad because I will not be able to use the x and y axis on the right analogy stick instead of 4 separate buttons. It seems as if I need to use one part of the dolphin kb/x360pad plugin and the other part of the nJoy plugin at the same time.

Sorry if I have been very confusing...
So is there any way to invert the x-axis of the right analog stick of the 360 controller while maintaining use of axes instead of buttons? Maybe another plugin that I haven't been able to find?

the default settings for the what to the opposite? you seemed to have left out the noun...
For the plugin? For the game? Please elaborate because I can't find any option to change the settings for an axis to the opposite

Well in the Dolphin KB/X360pad plugin, the c-stick left/right buttons are set to "J" and "L" by default, so I switched them and it did not change the left/right on my xbox controller so I still have the problem. The buttons that I can change only effect the keyboard, is there anyway I can change the left/right to effect the xbox controller? Maybe I misunderstood what you were saying.

Hi, sorry to bump an old thread.

I am having the same problem. Basically I push the right analog stick on my 360 controller to the left and the camera moves to the right, and vice versa.

Sorry for poor english!

Is there any way to reverse the movement of the C-stick (x-axis only) ?

Maybe in the .ini file? The file reads:

Sub_stick_up = 0x00000017
Sub_stick_down = 0x00000025
Sub_stick_left = 0x000000cd
Sub_stick_right = 0x000000cd

Thanks!

Same problem. Can't believe that more people are'nt annoyed by this. I've searched everywhere and found no solution. Is there no way to get the c stick correct..? Shouldnt this be a priority?

And the inverting the sub stick in the ini file doesnt do much except inverting the keyboard mapping, same as in the config menu.

We need a solution!
