Ugg from what I can tell the other games from that test library are working, but something is really not right Donkey Kong Country, it seems there is no button at the continue screen besides the default Wiimote one key. It's driving me nuts. Haha

It's driving me nuts. Haha Everything works for me. Check the "Load\Textures\SF8P01_Generated" folder, if everything works correctly there should be 48 textures. if they are there, probably another texture pack will cause problems. If they are not there, it could be because the controller is not properly assigned. If the textures are empty, the button will not be named correctly like "Button A" instead of "Button A" or it could not find the textures but as long as you did not change anything in the pack this should not happen.
Did you get to an end screen after dying and see a white number 1 button?

But I'm using my 360 controller. Or do you mean the option in controller settings? Thanks
Ahh I got what you meant, thanks man!!!!! (02-02-2021, 07:10 PM)Venomalia Wrote: Found it out. Do you have a nunchuck setting, I swear me and this DK game are going to war. ![]() Ok what the problem is, is that if you change a certain button for the game, the game will then make the icon invisible. Even if you make a new game. At least for me. 02-03-2021, 05:07 AM

Due to the way Venomalia setup the texture pack, if the button you try to assign is not defined in the pack he provided, you won't get the original game button, you'll get an invisible icon. So either Venomalia needs to setup the pack to fallback to the original texture (or an upscaled one) or they have to update the pack with the missing buttons (or you have to change your layout to a button that is expected by the pack). It's a bit confusing. I had a nice idea last night about how this all could be improved. Not sure when I'll get to that though.. |
