Hey, I'm here to play old Gamecube games, not interested in the Wii stuff but I'm also in need of help regarding some things, so trying to get my post count up. Hope to maybe make a friend or two here.

Hello,
I'm Godfather, and I am new to joining dolphin forums, but I have been using dolphin since at least 2014 back before dolphin 5.0 was a thing and dolphin 4.0 was the newest stable build. I actually joined a while back but I didn't remember my old account so I made a new one lol Regardless, I am a huge fan of dolphin and the work that they are doing. 07-24-2022, 08:34 PM
Oldyz here
i help develop OpenBor games, like Night Slashers X wide-screen my old machines are setup for 4 player gaming & i am very grateful to all the dolphin development folks. I wish i could share 3D videos of gamecube games on youtube, but i don't have a powerful computer. the fact that you support Stereoscopic 3D gaming is super, thank you. 08-14-2022, 07:35 AM

I'm just some old guy with a soft spot for tech and games we would call classic or retro today. I'm a huge fan of emulation, it's quicker, vastly more customizable, takes up less space, and helps preserve the original hardware. My primary platforms are Raspberry Pi (3B+ & 4B) and PC under both Windows and Ubuntu. I'm not limited to just game consoles, I also like to emulate the computers I grew up on, like the famous Commodore 64, Tandy CoCo, and Texas Instrument TI-99/4A.
I'm also an electronics geek, my idea of a relaxing night at home is a cold drink in one hand and my soldering iron in the other. I like to design, modify, and build a wide variety of things. Also a HUGE fan of the Arduino, more specifically the ATmega328P that powers it, as well as the ATtiny85 that powers the DigiSpark. Amazing microcontrollers! All that being said, I'm definitely not an expert or professional, I make plenty of mistakes and get my fair share of stuff wrong, but if you learn something in the end that's all that matters! For me, it's just a hobby I happen to take a bit too seriously at times. ![]() |
