Hello, I have been reading some of the threads here and there for a few weeks, and I finally made my pc . I'm just a "nerd" who loves games, and I hope to see you guys around in the other threads.

Hey everyone, new to the dolphin community. Not yet sure how big of a place this is, but I figured I'd introduce myself. Sorry if this isn't the right place for this thread. Anyways I'm a 25yr old male, and I've got some mediocre hacking skills mainly in hex code, or with use of programs made for whatever games. No real programing exp, like C+ or anything. Kinda looking for a fresh start, and an opportunity to help here with dolphin, or any projects. I had my own video game hack I used to work on, and used to help out a lot on other forums. Though these days I work 12hr shifts 6 days a week so sorry if it takes me a while, or even a couple of days to respond. I know I can't help too much with my work schedule, but I will do what I can when I can.
I'd like to say amazing work to all of the devs for steadily working on dolphin as well, seeing how I've been using it a lot to play my wii, and gamecube games. The new improvements are a huge step up from just a few years ago. My pc is a bit outdated, but it's not a weak rig to say the least Running on intel core 2 quad 2.4ghz. Currently waiting on the q9550 core 2 quad 2.83 to arrive in the mail. I'm hoping it will give me enough juice to be able to play demanding titles without lag even if it's just x1 resolution. Windows 7 6gb of DDR2 And lastly nvidia gt 730 4gb, 128bit, DDR3 graphics card. If there's any bugs I might notice in dolphin I'll be sure to report them. Anyways I'll be cutting this thread short. Didn't want to get a new mobo just yet because I don't want to install a new os. This is just my cheap project rig, even after buying the new cpu I've only spent 154$ US dollars for the entire computer. That's including everything.
Eventually I'll upgrade to a cheap i5, a new mobo, and upgrade everything else 09-08-2015, 08:58 AM
if it's for gaming do a G3258 instead of an i5 for budget reasons
