I've been emulating GC for awhile now but recently started with the Wii games. I've found they generally run better than GC and so I purchased a controller setup to play the games properly. I first bought an ASUS Bluetooth dongle from Newegg, a remote from eBay (RVL-003 Nintendo clone, detected as (Nintendo-RVL-CNT-1) and after pairing it up via the Windows 8 Bluetooth utility I would simply open Dolphin's wiimote setting and feel the remote "Vibrate". Anywhere between a few seconds and 20 minutes of game play some in-game message (in all of the games) will tell me that the remote has been disconnected, blah blah blah. I've previously searched the forums for issues such as this and I've read about alternate timing but assume the option has been removed from the newer builds of Dolphin as I cannot find it. Additionally I have tested the batteries in my remote and switched the BT dongle to a more reputable Targus ACB10US piece. No change. Using the widcomm stack associated with my dongle. Tried toshiba, bluesoil, but maybe I'm doing it wrong. I haven't tested a genuine RVL-001 wiimote yet. Wii speaker is down as far as it will go. I've experimented with different audio stuff and nada. Can anyone help me?
Specs:
Windows 8 x64
E8600 3.3Ghz
ATI Radeon HD5770
Newest Dolphin revision
RVL-003 Clone (I think)

Press Alt+F5 when you disconnect (several times if necessary).

Also what build are you using?

Yes, I've tried this with mixed results. Normally it continues to not function but the fact that this is happening to begin with is indicative of a problem, no? Pretty sure my BT is functional and I will try to use a standard original controller next but I believe I've tried everything now. I even tried a custom build that I found while looking through the threads here and nothing.

Are you using a sensor bar?

Which game(s) are you trying to play?

Yes, using sensor bar. Confirmed that I'm still having disconnect issues even with the genuine wiimotes. I have to constantly Alt+F5, Alt+F6 to reconnect them in-game. I should also note that this is my second BT dongle, the first being an ASUS Bt211, so I don't think it's the dongle. Using the widdcom stack now, will try toshiba again next.

I'd just like to update and say that I uninstalled all BT drivers, deleted all BT-related registry items, reinstalled widcomm stack, and synced up genuine Wii controllers. Problem solved.
