As I and Daco stated, we wanted you to download that other program. The reason being, that your results you posted did not convince us that your graphics card really fully supports OGL 2.1 extensions. If you can't run the program, then there is little we can do. My guess is that if you can't get it to run, then it probably isn't supporting the extensions needed to run Dolphin.
intel supports opengl 2.1 now.but dolphin still cannot run.

you are in linux but never heard of wine? w/e , google something that shows a complete open gl version and all its extentions and shows which one are supported and which aren't thats basicly what opengl does EDIT: btw, i did a quick look in what my GF8600 supports of 2.0 & 2.1 first extention i check (GL_ARB_draw_buffer) isn't in your list lol i stopped after the first one eventho im not sure dolphin uses that extention seems like the intel gpu's will always kinda suck 05-20-2009, 02:41 PM
Maybe i made you misunderstood. i can run dolphin, but failed to run the games. The only way I know to get details about opengl is typing glxinfo in the terminal and as it shows 2.1 i think it means really support it.
btw i'll check the gl extentions one by one. i know wine but i just want to try the opengl pugin. coz the intel supports opengl 2.1 rencently.maybe dolphin should be changed a little to support it 05-20-2009, 03:07 PM

My Geforce FX 5500 says it supports OpenGL 2.1 yet it only comes up with a blank screen with the OpenGL plugin. Your GPU is like mine, it should run but it doesn't for some reason. It sucks but that's how it is.

thx for all your replies and i think dolphin should list the extensions it used and make itself compatible with more cards.
I have checked the extensions listed on glview.now i am confident that my card is fully supported opengl 2.1 coz it has all the extensions. I think there's something dolphin can do to let intel cards run opengl plugin.should i post an issue on the google code? 05-20-2009, 05:13 PM

The issues board is for things that aren't already known. They know that it doesn't work with intel graphic chipsets. And, to be blunt, the average answer you're going to get is that they suck and you should upgrade to a better card (not that I necesarrily feel that way, I just know how posts about intel chipsets go). Just like the FX cards that support 2.1, but still aren't compatible. I honestly doubt the dev's are going to worry about getting Dolphin to work with them. I'm not trying to be mean, just letting you know, realistically, that your best bet to get Dolphin working is to get a better graphics card.

i just hope that maybe there are ways to use opengl plugin due to the new dri supports gl2.1.
I really want to change my graphics card but i am using laptop. i think i'll never use integrated graphics card. my god ~~~ 05-20-2009, 08:49 PM

that integrated card does support Pixel Shaders 2.0 (it even supports Pixel Shader 4.0 , since it's a dx10 IGP)
