hey everyone. I'm new to the forums, but i have a quick question regarding a rig I'm looking at and how well it'll work with dolphin.
i currently use a late 2011 macbook pro - i5 intel processor, 8gb ram, intel hd3000 graphics...
unless I'm mistaken, I've accepted theres no way to get the majority of GC or wii games to run without a lot of lag
BUT... I'm looking at buying one of the new Alienware x51 mini desktops for media use and some light gaming on my home TV. I would like to stick with the $700 entry level...
intel i3-2120 processor, 4gb ram (i have extra i can also add to it), nvidia geforce gt545 graphics.
i realize i could build my own pc and probably do so a bit cheaper, but the compact size of the x51 is a must for me.
will the dual-core i3 handle dolphin well, and be able to run games in HD without lag? I'm assuming there won't be many problems with the included graphics components.
any input? thanks a lot in advance.
