intel i3 2310 vs AMD E-350

which one of these two would be faster/better. I have two choices for a good computer and the first has i3 and the other has the amd. I have heard i3 is faster but want to make sure.

Generally, Intel CPUs are the better choice if you want to play with Dolphin.

E-350 is AMD equivalent to Atom, it won't run anything at playable speed, since Atom N570 isn't enough to run many PSX games on very fast pSX 1.13 emulator, and E-350 is about the same, a bit faster in some tasks, with way more powerful GPU so it can even run some modern games at low settings. It will probably run 2x68K games like Hyperduel or Afterburner II in MAME, but for Dolphin it's no way.

i3 2310M is roughly two times slower than my CPU at stock clock. Forget about games like Last Story.

The fastest mobile i5 (Ivy Bridge) should be able to handle most of the games very well.
