Considering that Jhonn has had numerous overheating issues with the same laptop, I don't think ThrottleStop is a sane recommendation...

No. What you're experiencing if fairly normal.

Screenshot of this please?

The screenshot you posted under temperatures shows normal temps and clock rate. Is this while dolphin is running the game or idle?
Ah, ok. I see. Those are the clock rates while running normal applications like Chrome, Skype, etc. but not with Dolphin running. Here are screenshots of the same with Dolphin running Twilight Princess.

Edit: Wow, thanks admin089 for linking that laptop performance guide, it was EXTREMELY helpful and informative! After switching the power save options to high performance, my fps went up to 30. Question though, will switching to the dedicated GPU increase performance (in the probable case that I will run into issues in Hyrule Field)? And if so is the performance increase worth potentially facing the overheating issues others have mentioned? I used to have those problems on my old Toshiba, but after I got that program you saw in the screenshots, Speedfan, the overheat problems went away. I'm not sure if it would do the same for this system.

Ok I would post this as a separate thread in the game support forum, but I seem to be getting a message that I don't have permission to post there. Anyway the game was running just fine, right up until a certain point in the Forest Temple, after you get the boomerang. It's the door that you climb a bunch of vines to get to, in the room with all the monkeys:

There is a door on that platform that leads to the grey-colored area on the left on the minimap. Every time I try to open this door, the game freezes. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
