I have a 3.20 pent D, 1gig ram and a HD 6450 in a old dell optiplex 320 running the newest Ubuntu 17.10. I realize the 32bit is unsupported but I would be happy with playing any build of the GC and Wii. I'm only about a week old into Linux trying to turn this old pc into an arcade. I've tried various PPA and install methods until I read that it wasn't supported by 32bit anymore but there were old releases or ways to compile it. I recently stumbled across this explaining how to do it but I'm unsure if it will work. https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/w...-for-Linux I'm also unsure the best way to adapt it to ubuntu or when I get to the part of "It's strongly recommended to perform a global installation via sudo make install" I'm not sure what that even means or how I should go about integrating it.
So any hopes of fixing what I need to do for the posted link or an all new method together to get it to work would be highly appreciated!
