Installation Issues with nVidia SHIELD Tablet K1

Greetings,

For whatever reason, my stock, unrooted SHIELD Tablet K1 running Android Nougat refuses to install any build newer than 0.14, and I'm not quite sure why.
I've tried with the latest development build over the last few months and it refuses to install, saying that it isn't compatible with my phone, even though it's a tablet.
I don't understand why it wouldn't be compatible since it's running a nVidia Tegra K1, which is an AArch64 chip and should be supported if other AArch64 chips like the Tegra X1 have been seen to work in videos on the blog.
As well, I've tried uninstalling the older version before installing the new one and it still refuses to install, leaving me no choice but to reinstall the old one to attempt to use it, but since it's such an old version it hardly works at all.
I would like suggestions on what to do, or if my tablet is even supported.

Thanks,
kaosjr

The K1 is a armv7 CPU, not armv8. You're wrong there.

That's why it won't install.

Well, that would be the issue. Seems I'm misinformed.
Also, is there any way to delete this thread? I can't seem to find a way.

Don't worry about it.
