Hello,

I built dolphin r4642 today because I wanted to try Mario Bros Wii in Full HD. The game starts without a problem but pressing the configured buttons does not seem to do anything (this is on linux btw).

I first tried my Wiimote and it seems to register just fine (I get the rumble effect in the wiimote prefs) but I get stuck in-game when I have to press the (2) key.

I then tried wiimode emulation mode using keyboard: same problem.

Any idea what could be wrong? It's no big deal as I like playing on the real console better anyway but I would love to test-drive the hires mode Big Grin

having the same issue, it seems to be related to the DX plugin, because whenever i change to opengl, the controls work fine.

it seems to suddenly work if you try to restart dolphin enough times hehe

just got this, might be related, but im a complete newb at specific program related errors

And in the newest builds, this error happens all the time, dx plugin and opengl, (so im guessing those have nothing to do with it). the controller just freezes, like if you are running to the right and the controller stops working you keep running, as if it is stuck on one key.

Hehe... that cannot be the same problem for me as there is no DirectX on linux Wink

I've seen the error message you posted, too, btw... but only when running in single-core mode (I have read somewhere that in dual-core mode the controller stops working sometimes, but for me it made things worse...)

I have the exact same problem. Disable panic handlers while removing the message still causes the game to freeze when Dolphin thinks the controller d/c.

Is there any solution to this issue?

Exact same problem here with build r4654. Hope there will be a solution to this soon.
Anyway, how can I get rumble to work on a xbox 360 controller and the rolling of a wii controller to simulate that on a xbox 360? thanks

Same thing here. I can play for maybe 5 minutes, then all input drops. I've tried many versions of dolphin with every setting i can think of. I don't get any kind of error messages, just loss of any control from keyboard/mouse/gamepad

Same problem here. I get the desync error for my 360 pad with all builds I have tested. If I Disable panic handlers the controls stop working without displaying the error. This only happens for me in New Super Mario Bro's and all other games work fine. Someone in another post was saying you need to patch the main.dol for the PAL version to fix the error. Though i'm not sure what this entails (ppf-o-matic?) or if it works as I cant find a patch.
