We're having an utterly baffling issue: we're using an 8BitDo Pro 2 controller, and while the controller configuration menu is registering inputs from the controller, the games aren't. We've even had the config menu open at the same time as Sonic Adventure DX, and straight up watched the config menu registering our inputs in real time, while the game is completely non-responsive.
For the record, on our previous computer Dolphin worked fine, but on the new machine it's having severe issues. We know how to configure a controller for both Gamecube and Wii games. We even managed to fix a previous issue with the games not having any audio output.
Information on our setup:
- OS: Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon, x64
- Linux Kernel: 6.8.0-060800-generic
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws, 64 GB
- GPU: AMD Radeon 7800XT (incorporated in ASRock Challenger Video Card)
- Dolphin: 5.0-21264, x64
We've attached a screenshot of our controller config.
