Input Delay With SSBB and a Logitech F310 controller

High there!

The only thread I found was back in 2009 about this very same issue, and I didn't want to revive an old thread that had no useful information in it.

Essentially, to do smash attacks in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, you have to hit the directional pad and the action button simultaneously; however, the control stick input seems to be slightly delayed vs the buttons, thus making it extremely difficult to do a smash attack, which sucks. Again, I saw back in '09 a few people having this exact issue, but no solution.

I have tried countless ways to fix this, but to no avail. This occurs on both my PS3 controller and my new Logitech F310 USB controller. Any ideas how to fix this delay?

Does the delay exist in things other than Dolphin?

It's difficult to tell, as not many games require the precision of SSBB. It does not appear to be the case though.

Intuitively, it seems odd that 2 separate controllers would share the same issue, so I feel like it has something to do with dolphin.

It's a hardware issue. The issue persists with my and on both dolphin and cemu, as well as only specific to the f310 controller, as the f710 controller does not have this issue.
