Initial setup - Issue with gamepad

I have an original x360 wired controller. WOrks perfectly with every game. I set it up on Dolphin, via the GCPad menu, everything is mapped and responsive, but unfortunately, the games do not recognise the controller, and still work with the keyboard and mouse.

What can I do?

Just Xenoblade. It's the only game I wish to play

Xenoblade doesn't support GC controllers. Set it up as an emulated Wiimote with a Classic Controller attachment (don't map anything on the regular Wiimote, only on the Classic Controller).
