Question
Is there any documentation on how to configure the INI files under the GameConfig tab?

I'm trying to figure out how I can configure games with the specific setups that I want for certain things. Take Soul Calibur 2, for instance. I don't want the widescreen hack to be activated for it, as it has great support natively for this. While, Wind Waker on the other hand, I would like it.

Now whether that particular option can be configured here, I'm not sure of, but in general it would be helpful to know what I can use the config ini for and what I can't.

Awesome emulator...thanks for all the work.

Thanks. I'm familiar with the location of the INI settings, but not with what to populate the INI file with. I see some settings are predefined for different games, but if I had some particular settings I wanted to tweak in addition to those, how would I know what the proper nomenclature is and whether it is supported in the INI file?

Whatever you want to modify is possible through the emulator's GUI.

Look hard. And if you still can't find, usually for true/false values, 1 is true, 0 is false.

I'd like to be able to make per game config changes so I don't need to manipulate settings constantly as I switch games. Additionally, I am hoping to find out WHICH commands can be configured and utilized from within the INI file, for EXAMPLE Widescreen Hack, as that is one that I would want on for some games and off for others. If I understand correctly, not all options in the GUI are functional within the INI file. Is there a rule of thumb for which work in there? Just the ones you see when going to the properties of the game? Do anything in the Config or Graphics/Display tabs translate to the INI file?

Currently, only the options of Game Properties and some of the video settings can be set up (and from what I know, currently there isn't any way to set Widescreen hack by INI changes)...

Use r7483 version to make specific game ini changes from the ui. While the ui was removed the rest works. Then copy the altered gameini file in the new version.
