Yep. In fact, most of the games will run full speed with an i5 4670k at stock clock...

Depending on how much time you're willing to wait: if you want to play demanding games NOW get them on christmas, if you're not in much rush wait until 2014

Are there any AMD CPUs that I can get now that will work until I upgrade to Intel next year? There has to be something that works Sad

FX 8350 is the fastest CPU of AMD side atm . It's slightly faster than FX 8320 . Obviously , it's not worth an upgrade
Next gen Intel Core I series : Broadwell isn't a tock but a tick . Intel Tick-Tock . Therefore , Broadwell won't be much faster than Haswell .
Just get an i5 4670k @ 3.4GHz which is 1.5 time faster than FX 8350 @ 4.0GHz
