Inconsistency with dolphinbar

I've been having issues when trying to use four official wiimotes (no motion plus, the very first models of the wiimote) with the dolphinbar. It appears to be very random with it's connectivity varying between games. When I connect all four remotes (prior to opening dolphin) and launch mario kart, I have zero issues, all remotes rumble at the safety strap warning screen, and all work well in game. Although, this is not the case with say, Mario Party 9. When attempting to use four remotes, at the safety strap screen all remotes rumble, and oddly all the LEDs on the remotes are set to player one. No remote is responsive. I have already tried turning off all remotes (while in game) and using F5-F8 to reconnect remotes but that works very rarely. This problem occurs to majority of the games I have tried, mario kart is the only game where I can get multiple remotes connected without issue.

I have already upgraded the dolphinbar to v3 firmware and the revision of dolphin I was using at the time was 4.0-4758. I have the dolphinbar set to mode 4 and within dolphin I have remotes set as "real wiimotes".

I got a problem similar to this with Donkey Kong Country Returns. The workaround I found is making sure you have enabled Continuous Scanning and then connecting only one Remote. Then, boot the game and connect the other remotes only when the game asks...

Sounds like a reasonable work around for now, I'll try it with Mario Party 9. Thanks.
